Assignment #1: To know me, is to love me.
Each and every group need to start an introductory entry about their own group in brief. Group may put photos of members, their favorite sites, music or whatever they think the others might want to know. However, it must be BRIEF and not too elaborate. This entry must be completed by Thursday, 8 January 2009, 00:01 – 12:00 hrs.
Assignment #2: Of Hofstede and Kluckholn-Strodtbeck.
This assignment is intended to test students’ understanding in applying either Hofstede or
Kluckholn-Strodtbeck cultural analyses model. Each group is assigned one article from “A Nyonya in Texas” written by Lee Su Kim (Amid Treetops and Astride Camels – page 112-116), and they have to use any of the two models to discuss the story.
The assignment must be posted by Thursday, 8 January 2009 from 00:01 until 10:00 hrs. Fail to do so will cost them marks.
