Round One : Blind Date

Assignment 1: To know me is to love me


On last Sunday, we went to class, morning class... as usual we yawning, chit chatting non-stop before the lecturer enter the class. Then the lecturer came. O’o Miss Fisha. my goodness, we all going to die. We like her we’re proud actually to be one of your students btw.

After almost 30mins she briefing about chapter 1. She said she will give the first assignment in a group, so she asked the class wheatear we will choose our own group member or she will assign for us, the class mumbling. So no answer, then one senior say out loudly, “we choose our members!”. Then Ms Fisha said “OK,I will choose for you” The class goes “no no no no misssss!!!!” but she is our lecturer and she’s the boss…

Then the second class on last Tuesday, we discuss about Dimension of Culture, Hoftstede’s Model and Kluckhon -Stroatbecks’s Cultural Analysis… so after the last slide there some sort of name that which group where we belong to. So we saw our name in group two. The first name is Noor Amira Syazwani binti Abdul Rahman, then Rheihana Noor Binti Baddaruddin, then Sofia binti Zafir, Fatehah Amira binti Mohd Ariffina and the last is Mahsuriani. At the time we tried to find where is Mahsuriani, and who is her?. We never heard her name before. Oh confuse, confuse.(???)

On Wednesday, Miss massages us to collect the assignment in her room, so we ask again to re-check our group members, so we saw Mohd Firdaus. Then where did Mahsuriani goes? Miss said she change the group, then we saw 1 name, a boy!!!! We just like “who is the hell is Mohd Firdaus???”, yeah we know he is in part 6 but who is he??... Then we a liltle bit “nervous” afraid that he can’t cooperate with us and "silent rider". Arghh, you know… boys always be boys.

So we asked miss again, who is Firdaus?..

Miss said “ there's a boy repeat the paper”. Then we just like OK miss. But seriously we don’t know him and not sure who is him, what does he looks like etc .

Then, on that afternoon, Reen try to call him and Sofia talk to him. Sofia said there will be a group discussion this night at library at 8.30pm, so he said Ok, he will be there.

At night, we meet up at the library, at upstairs. Then got 1 boy came, and then he reverses. He is looking for something. We also not sure is he Firdaus?.. then Reen shouted at him “Firdaus!!” then he look at us smile and uncomfortable because all of us is a girl. But, he still comes to us.

But, after that we seems like get together all can co-operate.......... So that’s how our group is created. Four girls and one hero. Four girls in our group. We already know each other seem we are in same class. But how about Firdaus? First time we talk with him is when he join our group.. .. So after some “induction” we appoint him as our leader seem he is the only guy in our group.. Guys like to lead right?

His name is Mohd Firdaus and he comes from part6. His interest is he like to study OB, love to watch Malaysia Hari Ini(MHI), and like to hear Nasyid. Hurm what about his favorite books? Seem we are political student, his favorite book is PAD204.

Now stop talking about hero. Let’s begin with heroines.

We start with Sofea Zafir, Penang Girl. “Ala…famous with Mami Jarum movie tuuu..” We called her Pia or Skut (crazy with biscuits). Her interest is traveling, likes to listen to any sleepy music (love to sleep???), love to politics and war books plus she is crazy to watch any genre of movies.

Our second member is Noor amira syazwani bte Abd Rahman came from Kuantan.From her long name, we just called her Mira. When she is boring, she like to chatting (who do you think with whom she likes to chat the most????). She love to watch romantic and comedy film and sometimes can become too emotional. Her favorite music is sentimental music and she likes to read magazine like Remaja and Cleo. To her, she can gain a lot of information from there.

Now, time for “selendang girl” from Johor namely Rheihana Noor Bte Badaruddin a.k.a Rihanna Umbrella. She is crazy to eating, camping and walking. If boring, she likes to watch any comedy and action movies such as The Matrix . Music? Emm..slow rock and dance. What’s about her favorite books? She loves to read Dara.com and The Pearl or any comedy books like Ujang.

The last member is the youngest in this group (bully..bully!!) Her parents named her Fatihah Amira bt Mohd Ariffin (1989) She loved to talking and walking. Her favorite books are Doraemon and Potato People while she likes to hear any songs. She loves to watch Shaun the Sheep Movie. (kambing biri-biri). So, we are happy with the group.
