IF INDIVIDUAL CLAIM TO HAVE JOB RELATED ANXIETY OF DEPRESSION. SHOULD COMPANY BE LIABLE?

Lately Nadia hasn't felt like herself. Her friends have noticed it, too. Ain was surprised when Nadia turned down her invitation to go to the mall last Saturday (Nadia could always be counted on to shop!). There was really no reason not to go, but Nadia just didn't feel like it. Instead, she spent most of Saturday sleeping.

Staying in more than usual isn't the only change in Nadia. She's always been a really good student. But over the past couple of months her grades have fallen and she has trouble concentrating. She forgot to turn in a paper that was due and is having a hard time getting motivated to study for her finals.

Nadia feels tired all the time but has difficulty falling asleep. She's gained weight too. When her mother asks her what's wrong, Nadia just feels like crying. But she doesn't know why. Nothing particularly bad has happened. Yet Nadia feels sad all the time and can't shake it.

Nadia may not realize it yet, but she is depressed.

Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. It may help a person to deal with a difficult situation, for example at work or at school, by prompting one to cope with it. When anxiety becomes excessive, it may fall under the classification of an anxiety disorder
If you are suffering from depression, you will often be nervous and have anxiety symptoms. And if you are suffering from an anxiety condition, you will often also be depressed.

An anxiety condition is a disease in which anxiety, worry and nervousness are so prominent and bothersome that you have to change and restrict your life. There are things you. The company should be liable when individual claim to have job related anxiety of depression because organizations do not make a suitable rules and regulation in the organization to manage depression and anxiety from occur.

Anxiety occur from the depression, to reduce depression among the worker the first company should do is to reduce the work burden of their worker. If they have a lot of work or task the company should not let the individual done by it self. Other, the company should state what the worker have to do.

Company should clearly explain the job description of the worker to avoid them to become depress because do not know their actual work. The company should supervise the work done by the worker to avoid them from feel ambiguity toward their work.

The company also should give training, motivation, campaign education and any activities related their works. Training and motivation among the workers is the organizational activity which aims to improve an employee’s current performance and education consist of activities designed to prepare employees for future jobs. Thus will reduce the employees anxiety and depression.

If the company not develop the training, educational programs, may be can be offered workers to feel anxiety. While training should only be given to those who need it, workers who strive for higher levels of performance, who put in extra effort. Company have to make sure the working condition and environment in the office in a good condition. For example they have to make sure there is no noisy around the office and suitable temperature to make sure the worker can work smoothly.

As a conclusion the individual can claim fa the job related anxiety of depression toward his company.
